Every home needs someone who will be obedient to God’s word. In Luke 8 Jesus teaches the importance of obedience as a way of sharing the secrets of the Kingdom with those around us. You may have a friend or family member, for example, that’s like rocky soil or thorny soil. The seed hasn’t grown in their heart. But one faithful person in their life is like a light that helps one see. If you’re that person in your home, workplace or neighborhood, be encouraged. Turn up your light and let it shine.
