Quality time together

My husband Dan is a Captain in the Air Force. We met in college during senior year and married only a few months after graduation due to Dan’s military training schedule. In the past seven years, we’ve dealt with our fair share of struggles from deployments to overseas moves away from family and friends. With living overseas and adding 3 young kids to the mix, we had time for the occasional date night but definitely not overnight getaways. We moved back to the States in 2016, and Dan’s job since then has demanded long hours and extreme commitment. My parents gifted us with a Weekend to Remember, and after more than 4 years of no overnight getaways and an extremely trying year for our marriage, this weekend has been such an incredible blessing. The sessions as well as the opportunity for this time alone as spouses with the projects, breaks, and date night offered such a sonderful rejuvination for our marriage.
