We are one of the military families that were sponsored to this event. We are one of the families that belong to the same base section that has suffered the six suicides. (Yes, it is a specific field that has these horrific rates.) Although not all were due to marital difficulties, we can speak to how important events like these are to reconnect, reground, and revitalize hope; all that gets strained through the years.
